Bobby Dodd was the youngest of 15 children, being born January 2, 1932 in Springfield to the late William Byrd and Roberta Seay Dodd. He leaves behind: his children, Nervian Head, John Head, Mario (Kim) Miles, Charles (Lashawn) Jones Jr. and Shelita Jones; devoted companion for forty plus years, Janice Jones; fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She went to college at Memphis State where she met the love of her life at the Wesley Foundation; Richard Goodwin, and they were happily married for 50 years.
